As we wrote in the general review, we are satisfied with this Motherboard its overall quality, the VRM setup of 8+2 phases is comparable to VRM setups found on other, more expensive, motherboards such as the Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 and Taichi.
Considering overclocking this motherboard is equivalent to the Phantom Gaming 9 capable of running the 9900K, used in the testing bench, at 5.1 GHz 1,36V without blinking. Albeit the VRM heat sinks are not full-bodied or equipped with fins, the temperatures remained in manageable and never reached worrying values.
The ASRock’s Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 is a serious card, with a strong propensity for overclocking if you plan to cool your CPU with air or liquid, and with a set of features that will keep everyone happy.
