The memory has a T-topology layout so it will favour RAM configuration which will use all of the available slots. EDIT: It seems like the pre-production samples of this board were T-top whereas the retails samples, like this one, are Daisy Chain meaning it will prefer Ram configuration that will populate 2 out of the 4 occupied slots.
For the memory power delivery, we find the UPI uP1674P controller with two SinoPower SM7341EH MOSFETs for a total current of 60A which are definitely more than what will be needed to overclock any configuration of whatever memory sticks you will use: we were able to achieve a stable 3600MHz C15 with an FCLK of 1800MHz with no issues.
