ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules, NAND Flash products, and mobile accessories is pleased to announce that it will be at Embedded World 2019 (Hall 1-410). The event is scheduled to take place from February 26-28 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg. ADATA will be exhibiting its latest lineup of SLC, MLC, and 3D NAND solid state drives (SSD) as well as various memory cards, PCIe products, and a DDR4 2666 memory module that can withstand wide temperature ranges and prevent sulfuration.

High-Speed PCIe Storage Solutions

In an era where Industry 4.0 and IoT have become the mainstream, industrial control products not only need to be reliable and durable but also deliver high performance and larger capacities. Therefore in addition to its lineup of SLC, MLC, and 3D NAND SSDS, ADATA is showcasing two new high-speed PCIe storage products, namely a new M.2 2280 SSD and next-generation CFexpress Type B memory card. The new PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 SSD delivers read/write speeds of up to 3.4/2.2GB per second, allowing it to process large amounts of data efficiently. On the other hand, the industrial-grade CFexpress Type B memory card is designed for high-definition 8K and 4K image processing. It conforms to CFA and NVMe specifications and sports transmission speeds of up to 1700/1200MB per second, which is 3 to 4 times faster than standard SD and CFast cards. CFexpress memory cards, which combine the advantages of high speed and larger capacities, are expected to become a new force in the PCIe market as they offer customers with a new and competitive upgrade option.

Data Protection Technologies

In response to the proliferation of cloud databases, ADATA is meeting the needs of customers with data protection solutions such as Write Protection, which ensures that data is not arbitrarily written, and Quick Erase and Security Erase, which can delete data in time to reduce the risk of data being stolen. What’s more, in the event of unexpected power outages, Power Loss Protection (PLP) can protect data from loss. These technologies are indispensable barriers for servers, data centers, surveillance systems, and other applications that need to store and process large amounts of data for long periods.

Wide Temperature Resistance and Anti-Sulfuration

Amid worsening environmental conditions, embedded systems are poised to face increasing threats, including pollution, moisture, and extreme temperatures. ADATA has implemented anti-sulfuration technology for many of its industrial-grade storage products to counter the harmful effects of silver sulfide buildup. The products can also operate optimally in a wide range of temperatures, from -40°C to 85°C. The products undergo sulfuration and reliability testing, which subjects the components to a high-sulfur, high-temperature, and high-humidity environment to confirm their compliance with the ASTM B809-95 specification. What’s more, ADATA uses Conformal Coating, a polymer film designed to cover a variety of electronic components on PCBs. It serves as a defensive layer for PCBs, protecting electronic components from liquids, dust, and other contaminants that can cause corrosion or short-circuiting.

Visit ADATA (Hall 1-410) at Embedded World 2019, Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from February 26-28, 2019.
